Leia Organa is the first main character we ever meet in the Star Wars Franchise.
She is aboard her ship that is being shot at by a Star Destroyer with Darth Vader aboard.
Vader is chasing her down to get information of the rebel base so that they can destroy it,
and get rid of the rebels. During this the droid R2-D2 is aboard the ship, and Leia puts a
hologram player inside of R2-D2, which plays the message to Obi-won telling him that the rebels
need his help. After she dispatches R2 he and C3-P0 get into an escape pod, and land on Tatooine.
This message gets to Obi-won, from Luke’s uncle buying C3-P0, and R2-D2 off of the Jawas. Leia on
the other hand is captured and taken aboard Darth Vader’s space station, the Death Star.
Luke, Han Solo, and Obi-won, along with the droids are going to save Leia once they figure out
where she is, and after they save her, they destroy the Death Star. In the next episode
The Empire Strikes Back Leia is stuck between who she wants to be with, Luke or Han. But later
on in the episode, Luke finds out that Leia is his sister, and so he tells her that. She and Han
then continue to bicker with each other as neither one of them wants to be ordered around with the other.
Luke and Leia on the other hand, stay close to each other as they are siblings, and don’t want to lose
each other. In the final episode of the first trilogy Return of the Jedi Leia becomes a Bounty Hunter
to go talk to Jabba the Hutt, but is only there to save Han from being frozen. Jabba then imprisons her,
and chains her to him, but Luke then enters the palace, and saves Leia and Han from Jabba. Towards the end
of the episode while Leia is with Han trying to deactivate the shields from the Death Star, on the planet Endor.
Leia is one of the main female characters of the entire Star Wars franchise, and is one of the best characters,
she is a smart character, and she knows exactly what she’s doing when it comes to things. She is also the
commander of rebels, and she always has a plan for whatever comes the rebels way.
