Anakin Skywalker is revealed at the end of the movie “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”
as Darth Vader. The movie ends off as Anakin actually dying because he wanted Luke to remove his helmet
from his suit. The movie “The Phantom Menace” then starts a new trilogy to the franchise, and this trilogy
shows the story of Anakin Skywalker. “The Phantom Menace” starts the story of young Anakin, and his amazing
skills at being a pilot. He would Podrace, which was like the Star Wars movie version of horse racing. They
allowed people to make bets and this is actually what allowed Anakin to become a free person. The person who
was making a bet on him to win, Qui-Gon Jinn, said that if he wins then he’s free to his owner, and the slave
owner agreed. Once Anakin won the race, he had become free and would be alongside Obi-Won, and Qui-gon jinn.
In the movie “Attack of the Clones”, Anakin and Obi-won are met with the task of protecting Queen Amildala, or Padme.
As the movie had gone on it showed many bad decisions that Anakin had made, and it showed that he is someone who
doesn’t like to follow orders, and he gets himself into a lot of trouble with his master, Obi-Won, and the Jedi Council.
In the final movie of the trilogy, “Revenge of the Sith” it shows how Anakin is easily manipulated, and how
Emperor Palpatine manipulates him to take down the Jedi Council and how they are the enemy against him, not palpatine.
With this in mind, the end of the movie shows how Anakin allowed that manipulation to happen, and how he turns against
his wife, Padme, and his master, Obi-won. At the end of the fight Obi-won got the high ground, and Anakin made a stupid
decision jumping towards him to try and kill him, which costed Anakin his legs, and turning him into a burnt crisp.
Once this happens Palpatine arrives and takes Anakin to a space station where he is then turned into the most infamous
Dark Side villain, Darth Vader.
