Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker is the main character of the original trilogy that started the whole Star Wars franchise.

Luke was introduced in the second main scene of Star Wars A New Hope.

From that point he is the most well-known character in Star Wars, and is the character that we all know and love.

He is the son of Darth Vader, who in the second trilogy we find out who Darth Vader really is, and also the son of Padme Amidala.

In A New Hope, Luke is trying to figure out who his father is, and when he finds out his father had the force in him, Luke knows that he does as well.

The person that he finds on Tatooine, Obi-Wan Kenobi, tells him about his father and what a great Jedi he was, and how he died.

Luke is granted with his fathers lightsaber from Obi-Wan, and he then learns the ways of the force throughout the movie.

During the first half or a little more than half of the movie Obi-Wan trains Luke with the little to know knowledge of

being a Jedi Knight shows Luke the ways of the force.

Luke then throughout the rest of the first trilogy uses force and gets stronger within the force to find out who his father is,

and how to save the rebellion against the evil empire who are trying to take the galaxy over.
